Riah Mae is an independent artist specialising in a range of mediums, including murals, canvas, illustration and branding.
Based in Cambridgeshire, UK, Riah’s love for art, nature and self-expression led her to pursue a degree in Illustration and Visual Communication at Westminster University, where she graduated with first class honours.
In 2017 Riah launched her business, offering bespoke illustrations and canvas work. A unique request for a client’s conservatory soon led Riah to her passion for mural painting.
Today Riah creates bespoke mural designs across a range of commercial and domestic settings, transforming blank walls into spaces blooming with personality.
Along the way, Riah has explored new applications for her work, including brand design and live wedding and event illustrations. Riah also collaborates with brands and like-minded creatives, partnering around commissions and events.
Her versatility enables Riah to cater for a range of commissions for clients and she is always excited by unique and adventurous projects.
Riah's art is shaped by her passion for vintage antiques, floral design, natural landscape and the renaissance period. Her style highlights the simple joys and beauty of life that often go unnoticed— nature, family, food, travel, and art.
Through her work, Riah aims to reveal and celebrate this overlooked beauty, reflect clients’ personality in their spaces, and ultimately find contentment in the here and now.
